GLAM-Evogen is an annual symposium that brings together faculty and trainees in the Great Lakes (mostly eastern) region from various backgrounds who work at the interface of genomics, population genetics, and evolutionary biology.

GLAM-Evogen 2024 will be hosted at Syracuse University in Syracuse, NY. All events will be held in the Life Sceinces Complex (107 College Place, Syracuse, NY 13244). Registration, poster session, coffee breaks, and lunch will all be in the main atrium. Talks will be held in room LSB 105 next to the atrium.

Shaila Musharoff, PhD
Cornell University
Dr. Shaila Musharoff is a population and statistical geneticist studying human disease architecture with the goal of reducing health disparities. Shaila uses population genetic approaches to understand how demographic and cultural factors like admixture, assortative mating, migration, and sex-bias affect patterns of genetic variation.
